Every 7-day Tanzania luxury honeymoon safari we run is private and tailor-made. You travel in one of our own 4×4 Land Cruisers with an experienced driver-guide, and you can start on any date that suits you. The final price depends on your travel style (Signature, Classic or Adventurer), your group size and the season.
Park entry and permit fees are set by the official authorities: the Tanzania National Parks (TANAPA). We book permits directly and confirm the current rates before you pay. Ask us for a quote and we will reply within 24 hours.
Full Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a Traford Safaris representative and transferred to your luxury lodge in Arusha, nestled within a working coffee plantation.
Spend the evening unwinding in a tranquil setting, surrounded by lush gardens and the aroma of fresh coffee. This is the perfect place to relax after your journey and begin your honeymoon in comfort.
Day 2: Transfer to Tarangire
After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its large elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Enjoy a scenic drive followed by a game drive upon arrival.
Tarangire offers a quieter, more intimate safari experience, ideal for honeymooners seeking privacy. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, zebras, and various antelope species, as well as predators such as lions.
Arrive at your unique lodge built on elevated platforms, offering stunning views over the surrounding wilderness.
Day 3: Flight to Serengeti
After breakfast, transfer to the airstrip for your scenic flight into Serengeti National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive en route to your camp.
The Serengeti is one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations, home to abundant predators including lions, cheetahs, and leopards. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Migration.
In the evening, enjoy a romantic dinner under the stars, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.
Day 4: Full-Day Safari in Serengeti
Spend a full day exploring the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. This park offers exceptional wildlife viewing year-round, with vast open plains allowing for incredible sightings.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush or return to camp for a relaxed midday break. In the evening, take in a breathtaking sunset together one of the most romantic moments of the safari.
Optional: Hot-air balloon safari at sunrise followed by a champagne breakfast (at extra cost).
Day 5: Transfer to Ngorongoro
After a morning game drive, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The journey takes you through changing landscapes, from open plains to lush highlands.
Arrive at your lodge perched on the crater rim, offering spectacular views. Spend the evening relaxing and enjoying the cool mountain air.
Day 6: Ngorongoro Crater Safari
Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, and the rare black rhino.
Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before continuing your exploration. The enclosed ecosystem provides excellent wildlife viewing in a relatively small area.
Return to your lodge in the evening for a final romantic dinner.
Day 7: Return to Arusha – Departure
After breakfast, drive back to Arusha with scenic views along the way. Upon arrival, transfer to the airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your unforgettable honeymoon safari.
