This policy explains how Traford Safaris Ltd (“we”, “us”) collects and uses personal information when you visit trafordsafaris.com or book a safari with us. We are based in Lubowa, Kampala, Uganda, and we handle personal data in line with Uganda’s Data Protection and Privacy Act, 2019.

Information We Collect

  • Enquiry and booking forms: your name, email address, phone number, travel dates, number of travellers and any details you choose to share in your message.
  • Booking details: when you book, we may also need passport details and dietary or medical information so we can secure permits, lodges and transport for you.
  • Messages: emails, WhatsApp messages and calls you send to our team.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information only to answer your enquiry, plan and operate your safari, book gorilla and chimpanzee permits with the relevant wildlife authorities, reserve accommodation and transport, and stay in touch about your trip. We do not sell your personal information.

Who We Share It With

We share only what is necessary with the partners who deliver your safari, such as the Uganda Wildlife Authority, the Rwanda Development Board, lodges, airlines and other ground handlers. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Cookies

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. This website uses a small number of them:

We keep enquiry and booking records for as long as needed to provide your safari and to meet legal and accounting obligations, after which they are deleted.
