Booking Your 4-Day Gorilla Trekking Safari in Uganda
Every 4-day gorilla trekking safari in Uganda we run is private and tailor-made. You travel in one of our own 4×4 Land Cruisers with an experienced driver-guide, and you can start on any date that suits you. The final price depends on your travel style (Signature, Classic or Adventurer), your group size and the season.
Park entry and permit fees are set by the official authorities: the Uganda Wildlife Authority. We book permits directly and confirm the current rates before you pay. Ask us for a quote and we will reply within 24 hours.
Full Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Upon arrival at the Entebbe International airport you will be welcomed to the pearl of Africa by our 4-Day Gorilla Trekking Uganda Safari in Lake Mburo guide, who will give a brief about Uganda and transfer you to Lake Mburo National Park, you will reach in the afternoon, check in and relax. Have early dinner and go for night game drive with chances of spotting the elusive leopard.
Day 2: Boat trip and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After a relaxed breakfast go for boat cruise on Lake Mburo. The most popular activity in the park, the boat trip reliably produces good sighting of hippos, crocodiles, buffalo, waterbuck and bushbuck. Among the more conspicuous water birds are African fish eagle, marabou stork, pied kingfisher, egrets and herons.
Checkout and proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. We drive through the volcanic landscape with steep sides to the home of the mountain gorillas. Check in and have a relaxed evening as you prepare for gorilla trekking the following day.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Wake up early in the morning in Gorilla trekking attire as you will be advised by your 4-Day Gorilla Trekking Uganda Safari in Lake Mburo guide, have breakfast and go for trekking which is a life time experience ever. The highlight of your safari is meeting with the gentle giants of Bwindi especially hikers will love the trekking in the ecosystem of the park.
The trek takes 3-4 hours depending on where you find Gorillas, The park ranger will interpret the flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the gorillas. Once you find the gorillas you will spend one hour with them. Come back for lunch and checkout to Lake Bunyonyi. Drive through the misty hills and hope to reach at the lodge in evening for dinner and overnight.
Day 4: Transfer to Entebbe International Airport
Have a relax breakfast at the lodge terrace while viewing the beautiful islands of the lake and nice breath from the lake and hills as you preparing for return journey to Kampala or Entebbe
Expect a stopover for lunch and a cup of homemade organic coffee and at the Uganda Equator for memorable pictures and souvenir shopping en route to the airport.
