Full Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Entebbe and Overnight Stay
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Traford Safaris Ltd representative and transferred to your hotel.
After your international journey, enjoy a relaxed evening at your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you may have dinner and rest or enjoy a short walk around the area.
No long-distance travel is planned on this day, allowing you to recover from your flight before beginning your safari.
Overnight: Entebbe
Day 2 – Entebbe to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
After breakfast, begin your journey towards southwestern Uganda.
Enjoy a scenic drive through Uganda’s countryside, passing through towns, villages, agricultural areas, and beautiful rolling landscapes.
Depending on your route and time, you may stop at the Equator for photographs and refreshments.
Continue towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and arrive at your lodge in the evening.
Relax and prepare for your gorilla trekking experience the following day.

Day 3 – Mountain Gorilla Trekking Experience
After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for your gorilla trekking briefing.
Enter Bwindi Impenetrable Forest accompanied by experienced guides and trackers as you search for a habituated mountain gorilla family.
The trek can take several hours depending on the location of the gorillas and the terrain.
Once you find the gorillas, spend one unforgettable hour observing them in their natural habitat and taking photographs.
After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.
Spend the evening enjoying the peaceful surroundings and, during the festive season, a special Christmas celebration at your lodge.

Day 4 – Bwindi to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, leave Bwindi and travel towards Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Enjoy the changing landscapes as you travel from the forested hills of Bwindi towards the open savannah of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Depending on the selected route, you may travel through the Ishasha sector, an area famous for its tree-climbing lions.
Enjoy wildlife viewing along the route before continuing to your lodge.
Arrive in the afternoon and spend the rest of the day relaxing.

Day 5 – Game Drive and Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
After breakfast, head out for a relaxed game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Explore the park’s savannah plains in search of elephants, buffaloes, lions, Uganda kobs, warthogs, waterbucks, and other wildlife. Leopards may also be seen.
Return to your lodge for lunch and some time to relax.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the famous Kazinga Channel.
The cruise provides excellent opportunities to see hippos, elephants, buffaloes, crocodiles, and numerous bird species along the water.
Return to your lodge in the evening and enjoy a relaxed dinner.

Day 6 – Queen Elizabeth National Park to Entebbe
Enjoy breakfast at your lodge before beginning your journey back to Entebbe.
Depending on your departure route and timing, you may enjoy a final morning game drive before leaving the park.
Continue through western and central Uganda, with opportunities to stop for lunch and refreshments along the way.
Arrive in Entebbe in the late afternoon or evening and check into your hotel.
Relax and enjoy your final evening in Uganda before your international departure.

Day 7 – Leisure in Entebbe and Departure
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel and a relaxed morning.
Depending on your international flight time, you may choose to rest at the hotel or enjoy an optional activity around Entebbe.
Later, your Traford Safaris Ltd driver will transfer you to Entebbe International Airport in good time for your international departure flight.
