Booking Your 7-Day Uganda Honeymoon Safari
Every 7-day Uganda honeymoon safari we run is private and tailor-made. You travel in one of our own 4×4 Land Cruisers with an experienced driver-guide, and you can start on any date that suits you. The final price depends on your travel style (Signature, Classic or Adventurer), your group size and the season.
Park entry and permit fees are set by the official authorities: the Uganda Wildlife Authority. We book permits directly and confirm the current rates before you pay. Ask us for a quote and we will reply within 24 hours.
Full Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe – Welcome to the Pearl of Africa
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a Traford Safaris representative and transferred to your boutique hotel overlooking Lake Victoria. After your journey, unwind together with a relaxed evening, perhaps enjoying a quiet dinner as the sun sets over Africa’s largest lake.
Day 2: Scenic Transfer to Bwindi – Journey into the Mist
After breakfast, begin your scenic journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive itself is part of the experience rolling hills, tea plantations, and vibrant local life. Stop at the Equator for photos before continuing into the highlands of southwestern Uganda.
Arrive at your lodge nestled in the forest, where mist rolls over the treetops and the sounds of nature surround you. Enjoy a cozy evening by the fireplace.
Day 3: Gorilla Trekking – A Once-in-a-Lifetime Shared Moment
This is the highlight of your honeymoon. After an early breakfast, head into the rainforest for your gorilla trekking experience. Hiking hand-in-hand through the dense jungle, you’ll track a habituated gorilla family.

Return to the lodge for relaxation, followed by a romantic candlelit dinner under the stars.
Day 4: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth – Romance Meets the Savannah
After breakfast, drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha sector, famous for its tree-climbing lions. Enjoy a game drive en route as you begin your transition from jungle to open savannah.
Arrive at your lodge overlooking the plains, where wildlife roams freely below. Spend the evening enjoying panoramic views with your partner.
Day 5: Game Drive & Romantic Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel
Wake up early for a sunrise game drive a magical time when the savannah comes alive. Spot elephants, lions, buffaloes, and antelopes.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. Drift past hippos and elephants as the golden light reflects off the water a perfect romantic setting.
End your day with a sundowner experience and dinner back at the lodge.
Day 6: Return to Entebbe – Reflect & Relax
After breakfast, begin your return journey with scenic stops along the way. Arrive in Entebbe and enjoy your final evening together perfect for reflecting on your adventure.
