Day 1: Arrival in Kigali, Rwanda
Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed by our 3-Day Rwanda Gorilla Exclusive Trek Safari representative. They will brief you about your upcoming gorilla trekking adventure and then transfer you to your hotel in Kigali. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore Kigali, visit cultural sites, or simply relax at your hotel. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Volcanoes National Park
After an early breakfast, we’ll depart for Volcanoes National Park, home to the endangered mountain gorillas. Upon arrival, you’ll proceed to the park headquarters for a briefing by the park rangers. You’ll then be assigned to a gorilla group for your trek. Trek through the dense forest, following the guidance of experienced trackers, until you locate a gorilla family. Spend a magical hour in their presence, observing their behavior and capturing photographs. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, you can opt for a cultural experience, such as visiting the Iby’iwachu Cultural Village. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.
Day 3: Golden Monkey Trek and Departure
After breakfast, embark on a golden monkey trek in Volcanoes National Park. This trek offers an opportunity to see the rare and playful golden monkeys in their natural habitat. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and check-out. Our representative will then transfer you back to Kigali. Depending on your departure time, you may have the opportunity to visit local markets or souvenir shops for last-minute shopping.
