Day 1: Arrival in Kigali, Rwanda

Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our 7-Day Rwanda Uganda Safari representative and transferred to your hotel in Kigali. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore Kigali, Rwanda’s vibrant capital city, known for its clean streets, friendly people, and interesting cultural sites. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Akagera National Park

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before beginning the trek. Spend the day with researchers and trackers, observing and learning about the behavior of the gorillas undergoing habituation. Enjoy an incredible opportunity to spend more time (up to 4 hours) with a gorilla family. After the experience, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
