Detailed 5-Day Uganda Primates Safari
Day 1: Arrival in Entebbe, Uganda
Upon your arrival at Entebbe International Airport, our representative will welcome you and transfer you to your accommodation in Entebbe or Kampala. Depending on your arrival time, you may have the opportunity to explore the area or simply relax and prepare for the adventure ahead. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to Kibale National Park
After an early breakfast, we’ll depart for Kibale National Park, renowned for its population of chimpanzees and other primates. The journey offers scenic views of rural Uganda and typically takes about 5-6 hours. Upon arrival, check-in at your lodge or camp near the park. Enjoy lunch and some leisure time to relax. In the afternoon, you can explore the surroundings or take a guided nature walk in the nearby Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge or camp.

Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park
Today, after an early breakfast, we’ll head to the park headquarters for a briefing by the park rangers before beginning our chimpanzee trekking adventure. Trek through the dense forest in search of these intelligent and playful primates. Spend an hour observing and photographing the chimpanzees as they go about their daily activities. After the trek, return to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the afternoon, you can choose to visit a nearby tea plantation or simply unwind at the lodge. Day 5: Departure

After the trek, bid farewell to Bwindi as we drive back to Kigali city and departure, with stopovers along the way. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your departure flight, marking the end of your memorable chimpanzee trekking and gorilla trekking experience in Uganda.
